Software developers, Wedge Force, creators of the “Earl Gray Guitar” software synthesizer, have recently launched a new kickstarter project in order to secure more funds for further development of new and existing software.
Currently their short term goal is $5000, with backers starting to slowly file in, but their ultimate goal is to reach $200k in order to further develop several additional products including: Metal Bass, Progressive Metal Guitar, Single Coil Solo Guitar, Semi-Acoustic Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, as well as a V3 version of their Synthetic Force sound engine.
Included on the Kickstarter page was a teaser UI screen for the Metal Bass software, which according to their plan, will be the first product to be developed as soon as they reach their $5000 goal.
People who pledge to the campaign will receive various software licenses for either existing products, or upcoming produces. Those who pledge over $300 will also get early access and an invitation to participate in private beta events.
Wedge Force software supports Mac or PC and the following plugin formats: VST2, VST3, AAX or AU.
We have yet to reveiw Earl Gray Guitar yet, but we will certainly do so soon and are looking forward to the upcoming Metal Bass plugin. We will keep an eye on the progress of this funding campaign and wish Wedge Force the best of luck! More music software on Kickstarter!
